According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Malaysia, the majority of the respondents stated they preferred shopping in a physical store and being able to inspect the product before buying it during COVID-19 pandemic as of May 2020. On the other hand, 11 percent of the female respondents and 15 percent of males wanted to support local brick and mortar shops during the crisis.
