In the period between March 2 to 8 and April 6 to 12, 2020 (during the COVID-19 outbreak), the number of brands that advertised online in Mexico decreased by nine percent whereas the number of digital advertising campaigns increased by three percent. In Brazil, both the number of brands and the number of campaigns decreased, by 17 and 30 percent, respectively.
