Implications of COVID-19 on urban livelihoods in Kenya 2020
As of May 2020, 62 percent of individuals in Kenya were absent from work due to coronavirus (COVID-19) related issues. The amount increased in comparison to the previous month, when it was measured at 50 percent. Around 78 percent were uncertain about when they would return to work, while 37 percent were not able to pay the rent.
