U.S. consumers' purchase location of plant-based meats as of 2020, by retail channel

As of 2020, around two-thirds of plant-based food buyers in the United States shop for meat substitutes in grocery stores. Other shopping locations for plant-based meat include natural grocery stores and fast-food restaurants, where 37 percent and 32 percent of plant-based consumers shop, respectively.
