According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in September 2020 in the Philippines, approximately 21 percent of the female respondents and 25 percent of the male respondents stated that they stopped using mobile dating apps as they got bored by the app. The same survey found that around 66 percent of Filipinos stopped using the mobile dating app that they had used in the past year.
