According to a worldwide survey on the Black Friday forecasts in 2020, the willingness of respondents to buy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Black Friday and/or Cyber Monday increased from 45 percent in 2019 to 85 percent of respondents in 2020. The share of respondents aware of Black Friday in UAE was 100 percent in 2020.

More than 11,000 people across 14 countries (Australia, China, Denmark, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States) were surveyed.
Survey question was as follows: "Do you plan on buying anything this year on Black Friday and/or Cyber Monday?".
