Planned Christmas spending compared to 2022 Australia 2023, by age
In a survey conducted about Christmas shopping expectations among Australian consumers from July to August 2023, just over 35 percent of respondents in the 18 to 34 age category said they planned to spend less during the 2023 holiday period. Around two-fifths of respondents in this age category indicated that they expected to spend about the same amount as they had in 2022.
