Christmas food shopping and consumption habits among consumers Australia 2023
According to a survey conducted among Australian consumers regarding their Christmas preparation habits in January 2023, around 42 percent of those surveyed said that they prefer to buy food at the last minute to make sure it is fresh. Nonetheless, over two-fifths of respondents said that they often buy too much food over the holidays, with many giving leftovers away to friends, relatives, or those in need.
