Import volume of gas oil in Ghana 2019-2021
From September 2019 to June 2021, the volume of gas oil imports into Ghana experienced large fluctuations. In June 2021, nearly 194 thousand metric tons of the product were imported. Moreover, the over 240 thousand metric tons of gas oil imported in October 2020 represented the highest level in the period observed. On the other hand, the lowest import volume was reached in December 2019 at 52.64 thousand metric tons. Overall, in Ghana, gas oil registers one of the highest values of imports, compared to crude oil and other petroleum products.
