Japan: marine product wholesale trade ratio

In fiscal year 2019, around 46.5 percent of fish and seafood products distributed in Japan passed through wholesale markets. The highest ratio in the last decade was recorded in fiscal 2010, when wholesale markets were involved in the trade of 56 percent of marine products sold in the country.
