Total energy consumption from petroleum in Egypt 2005-2021
As of 2021, the total energy consumption from petroleum and other liquids in Egypt amounted to 1.31 quadrillion British thermal units (Btu), which was the same number as the prior year. During the period under review, the energy consumed from petroleum and other liquid was at its highest in 2014 at 1.78 quadrillion Btu. Moreover, as of 2021, the total primary energy consumption amounted to 3.81 quadrillion Btu
