Total energy consumption from natural gas in Egypt 2005-2021
The total primary energy consumption from natural gas in Egypt amounted to 2.22 quadrillion British thermal units (Btu) as of 2021, which was the highest during the period under investigation. Since 2005, the energy consumption from natural gas followed an increasing trend until 2012, reaching 1.97 quadrillion Btu before dropping until 2015 and increasing again to its peak in 2021.
