Portugal: e-commerce penetration 2020

In 2020, the percentage of e-commerce users in Portugal recorded the largest increase since 2010. The share of population aged 16 to 74 years that had made an online purchase in the previous three months in 2020 grew seven percentage points compared to 2019. When asked about the previous 12 months, the share of e-commerce users increased 5.8 percentage points in the same period.
