Between June 2020 and March 2023, the share of new video-on-demand subscribers in Great Britain mainly belonged to Amazon Prime Video, which gained between 26 to 50 percent of new subscribers per quarter. Global streaming providers Disney+ and Netflix gained the second and third highest shares of subscribers in the first quarter of 2023, followed by Apple TV+.
