Online radio reach in Spain 2018-2023, by format
According to a study from 2023 on online radio consumption in Spain, the penetration rate of podcasts among internet users has increased over the years. While in 2018 only one percent of surveyed internet users listened to podcasts online, this has increased to a share of 5.2 in 2023. With the U.K. and the U.S. being the biggest podcast markets worldwide, there is still a lot of market potential in other European countries.
