
Share of monthly web traffic to marketplaces in Latin America 2021, by country
According to a study on the distribution of web traffic for marketplaces in selected Latin American countries, Mercado Libre stood as the leader across the region in 2021. In Argentina, where the company is based, Mercado Libre accounted for more than 80 percent of visitors to marketplaces, compared to 46 percent and 44 percent in Mexico and Colombia. While the Argentine e-commerce behemoth also drove most of the traffic from marketplaces in Chile, Falabella.com came in a close second.
