Gaming service subscription rate in the U.S. 2021, by age
According to an April 2021 survey, 36 percent of U.S. gamers aged 18 to 34 years did not subscribe to a gaming subscription service. The non-usage was even higher among gamers aged 35 to 54 years, where over four in ten respondents stated that they did not subscribe to any gaming service. Among subscribers, console gaming library services Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Now were the most popular offerings.
