Perceived creepiness of targeted linear TV ads U.S. 2021, by generation
According to a survey among adults in the United States in September 2021, 38 percent of Millennials and 37 percent of Gen Z respondents said they found targeted ads on linear TV (cable and broadcast) to be very or somewhat creepy. Targeted linear TV ads were found to be not creepy at all by 27 percent of Gen Xers and 24 percent of Millennials.
