An October 2022 survey found that boredom with a currently played mobile game was a driver for 59 percent of mobile gamers in the United States to switch to another title. Finding more attractive games or spending too much time on too addictive titles were popular reasons for 29 and 28 percent of the respondents, respectively. Around 40 percent of U.S. mobile gamers switched between games multiple times during a week.
