According to an October 2022 survey, puzzle and card games were the most popular mobile gaming genres in the United States, stated as favorite genres by 18 and 10 percent of the adult gamers, respectively. Word games were popular among nine percent of respondents, while six percent of respondents stated that action games were their favorite mobile gaming genre.
