According to an online survey conducted in October 2022 in the United States, the majority of respondents were aware Facebook, with an at least 85 percent of those asked across all age groups saying they were aware of the social network. Overall, 79 percent of respondents aged 18 to 34 years were aware of Instagram, and half of those in this age group were aware of text-based Reddit. Additionally, just a quarter of people aged over 55 had heard of live-streaming service Twitch.
