According to a survey conducted among Generation Z consumers in the United States in May 2022, 45 percent of female respondents said they were very likely to purchase from a brand that backed LGBTQIA+ rights, compared to 22 percent of male respondents. Conversely, 14 percent of male respondents said they were very unlikely to buy from a brand that supported LGBTQIA+ rights, compared to nine percent of female respondents.
