In most cases, online product search doesn't start on Google. In 2022, only 26 percent of Italian shoppers reported to have looked for a product on the search engine. The remaining 74 percent browsed on Amazon. Likewise, 68 percent of Spanish shoppers looked for products on Amazon website and 65 percent of German respondents did the same.
