Search engines ranked by market share in the United Kingdom (UK) as of June 2019 This statistic displays the leading search engines in the United Kingdom (UK) ranked by market share for June 2019. Google had the highest market share by far with 87.46 percent of the desktop, tablet and console search engine market in the UK. After Google came Bing with a market share of 8.2 percent, followed by the Yahoo! with 2.24 percent and MSN's search engine with 1.07 percent. The exact market share of search engines vary from month to month but in recent years Google has held a steady dominance on the market even though a temporary decrease of approximately three percent can be seen between March 2014 and January 2016, after which its share increased again. Other European countries such as Germany show close to the same picture on the search engine market when it comes to Google. This can also be seen in the overall share of search traffic from Google throughout different nations.
