On average, 12.4 percent of manufacturing enterprises based in the European Union and with headcount over 10 employees generated web sales via their own website or mobile app. Out of the 27 EU countries, Ireland reported the highest percentage in 2022, with an outstanding 23.1 percent. The Netherlands followed in the ranking, with 20.6 percent of manufacturing companies selling via their own e-commerce channels.
