Consumers' attitudes towards advertising in Portugal 2023
In 2023, 76 percent of Portuguese consumers thought that brands should represent diverse communities in their advertising. The majority of respondents, a share of 75 percent, also thought that advertising should not be a cause of offense to consumers due to cultural misrepresentation. However, only 34 percent of respondents believed that advertising is the best medium to represent cultural diversity.
