For the 52 weeks ended on May 19, 2019, Naked Juice was the leading juice and juice drink smoothie brand in the U.S. with a market share of 65.1 percent. The Pepsico-owned brand was introduced in 1983 and has developed more than 20 variants of blended fruit and vegetable juices, including a high-protein juice drink. In 2016, the brand generated sales of around 54.16 million U.S. dollars.

Behind Naked Juice, Bolthouse Farms had a market share of 19 percent in the U.S. refrigerated juice and juice drink smoothie brand market. Headquartered in Bakersfield, California, the juice brand was founded in 1915. It was acquired by the Campbell Soup Company in 2012 for 1.55 billion U.S. dollars and subsequently sold to Butterfly Equity, a private equity firm, for 510 million U.S. dollars in 2019. The juice brand previously eclipsed Naked Juice in sales, generating 65.43 million U.S. dollars in 2016. The Odwalla juice brand, on the other hand, is part of a variety of consumer goods offered by the Coca-Cola Company-owned Odwalla Company. Among those consumer goods, energy bars, bottled water, and soy milk. In recent year the brand has discontinued some juice flavors such as the Odwalla Superfood Amazing Purple and Pomegranate Mango drinks. Within the orange juice brand category, Tropicana Pure Premium had the highest market share at 31.7 percent.
