The brand generated 522.12 million dollars in sales, more than double Bolthouse Farms, its closest rival, which had 152.69 million in sales in the same year. Compared to the total market, Naked Juice holds a commanding dominance, with a 65.1 percent share of the market.

The Naked Juice brand was first sold in California in 1983. Its name stems from the fact that it had no preservatives, added sugars, or artificial flavors. The company was purchased by PepsiCo in 2007 and has since operated as a wholly owned subsidiary.
