Regional distribution of European banks headcount reduction 2008-2013
This statistic illustrates the rate of reduction of European banks employee numbers between 2008 to 2013, listed by countries or regions. In the Nordic region the reduction of headcount reached the highest level, with the total bank workforce reduced by 14 percent. Similar reduction levels were maintained in the Benelux countries (13 percent) and in Austria (12 percent).
