Production value of pharmaceutical products & preparations in Lithuania 2006-2015
In 2015, the production value of the basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations manufacturing industry in Lithuania increased by 43.6 million euros since 2014. With 192.9 million euros, the production value thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. Notably, the production value in this industry has been, with the exception of 2008, continuously increasing over the last years.
The production value is defined as turnover, plus or minus the changes in stocks of finished products, work in progress and goods and services purchased for resale, minus the purchases of goods and services for resale, plus capitalized production, plus other operating income (excluding subsidies). Income and expenditure classified as financial or extra-ordinary in company accounts is excluded from production value.
