The personnel costs of the basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations manufacturing industry in Lithuania decreased by 0.3 million euros since the previous year. Therefore, the personnel costs declined to 10.5 million euros in 2015. This decrease was preceded by an increasing personnel costs in this industry. In general, the personnel costs have been subject to fluctuation over the observed period.
Personnel costs are made up of wages, salaries and employers' social security costs. They include taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the employer, as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions.
