Healthy diets in Canada

Some 48 percent of Canadians believe that their diet isn’t perfect, yet they try to eat healthily when they can. Males aged between 35 and 54 are the demographic most likely to believe that they could be eating a lot healthier. When it comes to motivations to eat more healthily, wanting to lose weight and protecting long-term health were the top two cited reasons among Canadian consumers. Drinking more water or other fluids and eating more fruits and vegetables were the most popular ways to make an effort to be healthier.
