Domestic appliances: production value 2011-2020

The production value of the manufacture of domestic appliances industry in Spain increased by 62.3 million euros (+3.01 percent) in 2020 in comparison to the previous year. In total, the production value amounted to 2.1 billion euros in 2020. This increase was preceded by a declining production value in this industry. Over the observed period, the production value has been subject to fluctuation.

The value of production is defined by Eurostat as the amount actually produced by the unit, based on sales, including changes in stocks and the resale of goods and services.

Income and expenditure classified as financial or extra-ordinary in company accounts is excluded from production value.'
