Forecast of social network users in Poland 2017-2027

According to the Statista forecast regarding the development of social network user numbers in Poland, the number of monthly active social network users is projected to reach 32.77 million individuals in 2027.

 Leading social networks 

    In terms of the penetration rates, YouTube and Facebook are the leading social networking sites in Poland. Platform usage wise, a heavy Facebook user in Poland would spend an average of 18.8 hours watching YouTube content and 82.6 hours browsing their Facebook newsfeed. However, when it comes to the two platforms' engagement rate, YouTube had more than doubled online user activity levels compared to Facebook.

What keeps the users coming?

     Polish people are open to the socializing and entertaining roles of social media. Nevertheless, keeping in touch with others was the leading reason for the Poles’ usage of social networks. For younger users and their parents, YouTube and Facebook were the most popular social networking sites. Watching tutorials and learning new things was the leading educational purpose of using YouTube among Poles.
