The share of people in their forties in Japan who use conventional mobile phones to access the internet amounted to 11.6 percent in 2022. Shares were smaller among the other age cohorts. The figures in this case exclude smartphones. The share of people who use smartphones to access the internet was larger throughout all age cohorts.
