Domestic craft beer consumption volume in Sweden 2013-2016
This statistic shows the consumption volume of domestic craft beer in Sweden from 2013 to 2016. The volume of Swedish craft beer increased over this four year period. While the consumption volume amounted to approximately 4.8 million liters, a total of about 8.2 million liters was recorded in 2016. Craft beer is a popular beverage in Sweden, despite the high alcohol sale restriction in the country: alcoholic beverages with with more than 3.5 percent by volume can only be purchased at Systembolaget, the national alcohol retail monopoly.
