Over the period presented, the value of spirits sold by Polish manufacturers fluctuated. In 2021, the sold production value stood at 2.05 billion zloty.
Spirits manufacturing industry
The industry employs nearly five thousand people, a slight increase in the number of employees compared to 2010. The average retail price of pure vodka has been fluctuating in recent years. In 2023, Poles could purchase half a liter of pure vodka for an average price of 32.31 zloty.
Spirits consumption
Spirits consumption has generally increased in recent years. Polish consumers drank an average of 3.5 liters per month of spirits in 2022. Monthly expenditure wise, Poles spent over 15 zloty on spirits. Hard liquors were more popular among men; relatively few women consumed spirits in Poland.
