Over the period presented, the value of spirits sold by Polish manufacturers fluctuated. In 2020, the sold production value stood at 1.64 billion zloty.   

Spirits manufacturing industry

      Between 2010 and 2019, the Polish spirits manufacturing industry welcomed 29 new enterprises. The industry employs nearly five thousand people, a slight increase in the number of employees compared to 2010. The average retail price of pure vodka has been fluctuating in recent years. In 2020, Poles could purchase half a liter of pure vodka for an average price of 25.66 zloty.    

Spirits consumption

      Spirits consumption has generally increased in recent years. Polish consumers drank an average of 3.7 liters per month of spirits in 2020.  Monthly expenditure wise, Poles spent over 13 zloty on spirits. Hard liquors were more popular among men; relatively few women consumed spirits in Poland.
