This chart shows the public perception of the degree of discrimination encountered by homosexuals among the Italian population in 2011, sorted by age group. According to this statistic, more than half of Italians aged between 18 and 74 thought that homosexual people were very or rather discriminated against. Young Italians aged 18-34 expressed the greatest concern: only one third of respondents belonging to this age group believed that homosexuals were hardly or not subject to discrimination.
