As of 2021, the organic agricultural land area in Finland amounted to roughly 327 thousand hectares. The organically cultivated land area in Northern Ostrobothnia reached nearly 41.4 thousand hectares, followed by Varsinais-Suomi with almost 34.4 thousand hectares. The corresponding figure in the region of Lapland was roughly 3,700 hectares.
