This statistic illustrates the share of internet users who purchased event tickets online in Italy in 2016, by age group. According to the results of the survey, respondents aged between 25 and 34 years were the most likely to purchase tickets for events online: about one in five internet users of this age group had purchased at least a ticket online in 2016. By contrast, only two percent of respondents over 75 years had purchased tickets online.
