This statistic presents the share of adults in the United States who think it is appropriate for President Trump to tweet in certain situations as of August 2018, sorted by age group. According to the findings, only 21 percent of respondents aged from 18 to 29 years reported that it was appropriate for President Trump to tweet political attacks towards individuals, such as the policy position of such individual. In comparison, 34 percent of individuals aged 65 years and older stated similar opinions.
