U.S. political news sources more likely to be trusted by Republicans 2019

As of November 2019, 65 percent of Republicans and Republican leaners were found to trust Fox News for political and election news. During the survey period, Fox News was the most widely trusted political news source among Republicans. In comparison, only 19 percent of survey respondents distrusted the source about political news. Sean Hannity's radio show was the second-most trusted political news source among Republicans although it is notable that only 30 percent of respondents stated that they trusted the source. Overall, it was found that Republicans were more likely to distrust than to trust a wide range of news sources.
