Biggest reasons for online shopping cart abandonment in the Netherlands 2018 This statistic shows the results of a survey in which consumers in the Netherlands listed the eight biggest reasons for online shopping cart abandonment in 2018. The source mentions that the biggest improvements were to be gained in the delivery process, as 55 percent of Dutch online shoppers mentioned they would cancel their online purchase if they found out that delivery costs were higher than expected.
In the second half of 2017 and the first half of 2018, Zalando, the fashion company with the highest online revenue in the Netherlands, had a desktop bounce rate of 17.8 percent for Zalando.nl. H&M's hm.com, ranked second in Dutch online revenue, had a lower desktop bounce rate: 13.7 percent.
