Experience of internet hate in Sweden 2019, by age
In 2019, Swedes between 16 and 25 years of age were most prone to experiencing hate or other negativity on the internet when compared to other age groups. While 31 percent of the respondents in this age group had dealt with online hate during this year, another 27 percent of the respondents in the youngest age group had tried the same. For the older generations, online bullying was less common. Here, ten percent of the 46 to 55-year-olds had encountered online negativity in 2019.
