Today, International Women's Day 2018, the gender pay gap is still a harsh reality, particularly in Europe. Defined as as the difference between male and female earnings as a percentage of male earnings, Eurostat
has released data showing where the gap is worst in the EU
. Estonia comes first with men outearning women by 25.3 percent. Czech Republic comes second with 21.8 percent while Germany is in third place with 21.5 percent.
