When in 1909 Ferdinand Count of Zeppelin laid out parts of the foundation for todays interconnected world by founding the very first airline, it took 64 years for the same amount of people to use this innovation. The impact an innovation has on humankind is quite irrelevant for how fast it gets picked up by people. More important is the ever-extending interconnection of our world.
