This statistic shows the revenue distribution of the alcohol retail trade in Russia between 2005 and 2016. The two biggest players on the Russian alcohol market were undoubtedly vodka and beer. In 2005, over 60 percent of revenues were generated only by vodka sales. However, during recent years, beer gained more in market share and in 2016, vodka and beer generated roughly 40 percent of alcohol market sales, each.
