Distribution of reporters for TV news in Sweden 2007-2018, by gender
In 2007 and 2014, the number of male and female reporters in TV news in Sweden was equal at 50 percent each. However, in 2016, 57 percent of the reporters on television were women. Two years later in 2018, the gendered difference was reduced by three percent, with 54 percent female reporters on screen.
