A survey on news consumption and trust held in the United States in April 2023 found that only 10 percent of all respondents had a great deal of trust in MSNBC, whereas 20 percent said they found the channel to very untrustworthy. Trust in news depends on multiple factors ranging from age to political affiliation, as well as whether or not the source is considered to be partisan.
