Vietnam: preferred information sources on Korean skincare products among females 2021

According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in July 2021, 61 percent of the female Vietnamese respondents who used K-beauty products usually got their information on the latest Korean skincare products and trends through social media beauty influencers. Within the survey, the share of female respondents who use Korean beauty products was around 64 percent of all female respondents.

The survey was conducted between July 8 to 30, 2021 among a total of 3,261 Vietnamese respondents (1,753 female and 1,508 male respondents) aged 16 years and older. Other surveyed countries include China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
